County Health Nurses

Nursing Services Offered:

• Immunizations provided by appointment only for the following:
• Children birth to 19 years of age
• College immunizations
• Limited Adult vaccinations
• Community immunization clinics
• Tobacco Cessation supplies & materials available (patches, lozenges, etc).
• In home nursing visits available per doctor order for residents within the Bi-County area.
• Communicable Disease Reporting & Investigation.
• In home lead visits provided for children 6 years of age or younger whose lead level is 10 or above.
• Health education
• Referral to outside agencies as needed.
• Work closely with school nurses to provide information/guidance to ensure safety & well being of student population.
• Coordinate services with local agencies to provide a safe & healthy community for the Bi-County area.
• Participate in Community Health Fairs
